About Sara

 Sara Vargas was raised in Kona and is dedicated to helping Big Island residents with all of their legal needs. She attended the University of Hawai`i at Hilo and graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She went on to attend Willamette University College of Law,  in Salem, OR, where she achieved  her Law Degree and gained invaluable experience in the legal field. She was admitted to the Hawai`i State Bar in 2017, and spent 2 and a half years as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with the County of Hawai`i. She is passionate about our community and eager to continue to serving it. 

On a more personal note, she is a wife and mother of two young children. She spends her free time and weekends working on a Koa and Iliahi reforestation project with her family on the slopes of Mauna Loa.
